What exactly is inöuqa?
inöuqa are giant and ultra-light magnetic units that assemble thanks to integrated magnets.
Children build life-sized constructions in and around which they can play. Cabins, rockets, castles, tunnels... the possibilities are almost endless, just like their imagination.
Unlike small building toys, inöuqa is experienced on a child’s scale: they will be able to invent their own universes, stories, and characters.

How does it assemble?
This is where the magic happens: the units have integrated magnets that automatically attract each other (and never repel!) when brought close together.
The small white connectors are practical visual markers for children who instinctively understand that these locations are strategic.
No Velcro, no screws, no intermediate parts that get lost or break. A 3-year-old can understand, assemble, and build independently from the very first minutes.
What to build with my units?
In complete transparency, a little bit of everything that comes to your mind and what the imagination (and that of your child) allows.
There are not really any limits or right or wrong constructions: huts for shelter, paths to move, shapes to stack, structures to play and tell stories, alone or with others.
The inöuqa units assemble freely and transform according to the desires for movement and the ideas of the moment, inviting children to create, deconstruct and start over, again and again.
So, an impregnable fortress, an interstellar vessel, a fighter jet, a lush jungle, an ancient arena...? Just dive in. It's your turn to play!

Is it dangerous?
No. The inöuqa units are designed to be used safely by children and thought out for active and independent play.
Lightweight, with rounded corners and made from durable materials, they are non-toxic and free from harmful substances.
The magnets are fully integrated and secured within the units. Their small size and features pose no danger.
The sets fully comply with the requirements of European toy safety standards, even for children under 3 years old, and have been tested by independent, certified third-party laboratories.
What benefits for children?
The inöuqa units invite children to play with their bodies as much as with their imagination.
They encourage movement,creativity and cooperation. Reflection, manipulation, design, experimentation, frustration, etc. will develop their motor skills and body awareness, their ability to solve problems, their self-confidence, their acceptance of mistakes, and their social skills.

Is it solid?

The material chosen to manufacture the units is highly strong and robust. Long used in the automotive industry (bumpers, doors…), construction (insulation, heat pumps…), logistics (transport boxes…) or even leisure (helmets, cargo bikes…), for these unique technical characteristics and, in particular, its shock resistance and durability, these advantages are well established.
Ultra-light yet incredibly sturdy! However, they are not unbreakable (like all toys on the market), so you should still avoid putting your units through too much stress or deliberately choosing to degrade them (be sure to follow the good practice sheet included in your set). It would be a shame, in our opinion, to deprive yourself of certain parts.
From what age?
inöuqa is recommended for children from 0 to 10 years old , ideally from the age of mobility. Fully compliant with standards , it inöuqa is recommended for children aged 0 to 10 years, ideally starting from when they can move. Perfectly compliant with standards, it has no contraindications for those under 3 years old.
The little ones can manipulate and assemble on their own thanks to the lightness of the units and quickly understand how it works due to the super intuitive connection.
This evolving game will grow with them: babies enjoy the tactile and textural interest; at 3 years they connect the units together and create paths or small constructions; at 6 years they build medium and complex structures; at 10 years, the buildings become architectural challenges.
And the more units available, the more impressive the creations will be!

How to choose my set?
We will hardly be able to choose for you, but we can shed some light. This choice simply depends on your wants and construction ambitions (and those of your children, of course...).
We offer two set formats: the "Excursion Set" is ideal for starting out and creating medium-sized structures, while the "Adventure Set" is perfectly suited for more ambitious and complex constructions. And if you feel limited, if your imagination overflows and you dream very big, you can always supplement your equipment with an "ExtraSet".
Nothing is set in stone; everything is designed to evolve with your children's inventiveness. Obviously, the bigger your projects, the more units you will need.

Is my payment secure?
Of course! The security of your purchases is a top priority for us. That’s why we have selected trusted partners and tools, recognized in the market, to ensure you have the most peaceful shopping experience possible, which leaves little room for risks.

Depending on the status of your purchase processing, some changes may no longer be possible, especially if the package is already in transit. Similarly, if a pre-order period has closed, stock may be limited and the desired product may be out of stock.

Where is my invoice?
Your invoices are available at any time from your customer area. Just log in, go to the “My orders” section, select the relevant order, and then click on “Print invoice”.

How to create and validate my account?
What?! You don't have your inöuqa account yet??? We'll fix that in the blink of an eye. Nothing could be simpler. Click on the "My account" icon at the top right.
Then follow the registration steps by providing the requested information. Once your account is created, you will receive a confirmation email that you need to validate to complete your registration. Be sure to check your spam if necessary.
If you have any issues, our team is of course at your disposal, you can contact us whenever you like.
How do I reset my password?
To reset your password, two options are available to you:
- If you still have access to your account, simply log in to your customer area and follow the procedure to change it.
- If you have forgotten it, click on "Forgot password?" from the login page and follow the instructions to create a new one.

How to track my order?
Upon validation of your purchase, you will receive a confirmation email with the estimated delivery timeline.
Once your order is prepared and entrusted to our logistics partner, a new email will be sent to you with a tracking link.

What is the amount of the shipping fees?
Delivery fees are calculated automatically based on your cart and your delivery address.
We would like to remind you that shipping costs are free for all our customers in mainland France and within the European Union.

How do I change my delivery address?

As with almost any online purchase, your delivery may be delayed. This can exceptionally happen in case of unforeseen production or logistics issues, for example. Rest assured, if this occurs, we will quickly inform you by email of the situation.

How do I return my purchase?
Have you changed your mind and wish to return your product? We are very sorry, sincerely. But it happens, we understand.
Legally, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date you receive your order. But because we're super nice at inöuqa, we've decided to double this period and give you up to 30 days .
During this period, you can return your purchase if it doesn't suit you, provided it is in perfect condition , unused, and in its original packaging. Return shipping costs are your responsibility , and we will process your refund after receiving the product.
Another scenario: the product has a significant defect (darn it…), which impairs its proper functioning. First of all, we are very sorry. It can happen, it's true, even if it's not an excuse, we are well aware of that. The 30-day return period remains the same, but this time, the return shipping costs you paid upfront will be refunded, as will the rest of the amount of your order. Of course, a replacement can also be considered…
All return requests must be made using the dedicated form. Once validated, we will send you the necessary information to easily complete the return.
How do I get a refund?
Once your return is received and validated, we proceed with the refund of the amount of your purchase as well as the initial shipping costs. The return costs remain your responsibility. The refund is made to the payment method used when you placed your order.

How did the idea come about?
inöuqa was born from a simple observation: children are spending more and more time in front of screens, playing less freely and sometimes lack opportunities to fully develop their imagination and motor skills.
As involved parents, we wanted to offer a playful, creative, and sustainable alternative that encourages autonomy, movement, and the joy of building together.
A toy inspired by our childhood memories, designed to help children grow through play, simply.
What is our mission?
Since day one, we have been driven by the desire to preserve the carefreeness of the youngest and to offer them the path of imagination and movement. To guide them towards the paths of lightness, fun, and escape. To give them the desire to be curious, to be inventive, to share… To remain a child above all.
inöuqa is a toy for them, but above all a sustainable, useful, and inclusive solution from the perspective of parents and professionals in care and health, concerned about their well-being, development, and flourishing.

They take into account all design, manufacturing, materials, logistics, and service costs, as well as our commitment to responsible and local production.
Thanks to the choice of fair production, we maximize our costs, while maintaining a high level of demand for quality and innovation. We then apply a reasonable margin, aligned with the market, to ensure the sustainability of the project. Our priority remains above all to build a sustainable model, serving play and imagination.

Why the name "inöuqa"?
Since we want to inspire the imagination of the youngest, we might as well be the first to set an example, right?
The starting point is the desire to personify our game, to give it a little name, so that children can make it their own and see it as a true companion: "Can I play with inöuqa?"; "Can we take inöuqa to grandpa and grandma's?"; "So inöuqa, what are we building today?"… These are the kinds of phrases we hope to hear.
Our initial idea was also to not create boundaries with the name. Our toy is transferable to all children on our planet, so the name needed to be as well. That said, it was the creative process that then took over… A combination of vowels, consonants, and syllables orchestrated and organized to achieve this beautiful sound:
- the "i" from imagination,
- the "ino" from innovation,
- the "in" from inside,
- the "nou" which refers to the notion of group and sharing
- the "où" from "where are we going?" or the "ou" that opens the field of possibilities,
- the "qa" from hut or square…
In short, it’s a pretty mix that’s a bit quirky and funny, with a touch of exoticism thanks to the characters brought back from our travels, like the "ö" from Scandinavian and Germanic countries. Take a good look at it, and you’ll see a surprised smiley staring back at you. And you might regularly find it in our visual universe.
There you go, you know all the secrets of our name. We hope you like it.
Is it really made in France?
No trickery, it’s true! inöuqa is designed, manufactured, and assembled in France, and we are quite proud of it.
The design took place between Fontainebleau and Annecy; our units come from a factory near Grenoble; our white connectors are injected next to Annecy; our toy is finally assembled, packaged, and shipped in a company that employs people with disabilities not far from Roissy.
We have made the choice of short circuits, craftsmanship, and responsibility, even if it costs a bit more, that’s true. Because a sustainable toy for our children deserves committed manufacturing.
Why is this responsible?
It’s a bit strange to say, but in fact we are creating a toy to consume fewer toys…
- A more durable toy in reality, which may replace several small purchases, more gadgets and undoubtedly less qualitative.
- A toy that limits boredom and multiplies the possibilities of fun.
- A toy that will be passed down within siblings, in the family, and that can be offered as second-hand.
